As a full cassette design, the Lateral Arm canopy lives inside an enclosure when retracted. This casing uses a unique design to create watertight protection and a silent closure. It mounts on the wall of your building, and the motor feature allows you to operate the awning with ease.
A unique feature of the Lateral Arm design is its dynamic arm and tilt, which works to minimize contact-ware when the unit is opening and closing, to protect the traction mechanism, and to eliminate any potential for fabric tears during operation. Based on the needs of the project, the pitch adjustment of the Lateral Arm canopy is available up to 40°, and the canopy includes a micrometric pitch regulation feature that simplifies the installation process.
Wind and sun sensors can be incorporated into the canopy design, providing the simplest possible operation while also offering a layer of protection for the unit if the wind were to pick up unexpectedly.
